Leading People. Through What's Next.

Featured Book
Organizational change is often discussed in terms of strategy, structure, and performance. But leaders also carry the emotional weight of change, often without the language, support, or space to process what they are experiencing.
Leading Through Organizational Grief brings attention to the often-overlooked human experience of leadership during organizational change. Grounded in research and translated into practical insight, the book helps leaders recognize grief responses, understand what they may be carrying, and lead in ways that are more sustainable, grounded, and human.
At the center of the book is the Leadership Grief Response Model™, a practical framework for understanding how leaders move from suppression toward acknowledgment, from self-sufficiency toward support, from surviving toward sustainability, and from guarded leadership toward grounded leadership.
How I Work
How I Work
I work across consulting, speaking, and research, bringing together organizational psychology, practical leadership experience, and a deeper understanding of the human impact of change.

Research
I work with leaders and organizations navigating change, leadership challenges, and workplace disruption. My approach brings together organizational psychology, practical leadership experience, and a deeper understanding of the human impact of change.
I speak about the realities leaders and employees experience during organizational change, including grief, resilience, workplace well-being, and the emotional weight that often goes unspoken.
My research explores work-related unresolved grief, leadership, organizational change, coping, resilience, and sensemaking, with an emphasis on translating research into practical insight.
Why This Work Matters
Change is organizational. The experience of it is deeply human.
Organizations make decisions about restructuring, transitions, leadership changes, growth, and loss every day. Yet the people responsible for carrying those decisions forward are often expected to keep moving without acknowledging what the change may be costing them.
My work begins with a simple belief: we can take organizational performance seriously without overlooking the people behind it. When leaders better understand what people experience and carry through change, they are better positioned to lead with clarity, intention, and humanity.
Change may be inevitable. How we lead people through it is a choice.
