This Privacy Policy explains how Dr. Jennifer Harden collects and uses personal information through drjenniferharden.com and the Insights List. For questions about this policy or your information, email contact@drjenniferharden.com.

Information you provide

When you submit a contact form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, organization, role or title, inquiry type, message, and preferred contact method. I use this information to respond to inquiries and discuss consulting, speaking, research, or other requests.

When you join the Insights List, I collect your email address and any other information you choose to provide through the signup form. I use it to send a welcome email and occasional articles, research reflections, book news, and updates about my work.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information, health details, or confidential information about other people in website forms.

Email subscriptions and your choices

You can unsubscribe from the Insights List using the unsubscribe link in an email. You may also contact me at contact@drjenniferharden.com for help.

Submitting a general inquiry does not, by itself, give permission to send you newsletter marketing. Website form records may be synced to Hostinger Reach for contact management, but the welcome automation is configured for the Join the List segment.

Hostinger Reach provides email delivery and engagement reports. These can record delivery, opens, link clicks, and unsubscribe activity. I use these reports to check that emails work and understand which content interests readers. Open and click measurements may also reflect automated activity by email providers.

Service providers

I use Hostinger to host the website and process form submissions, Hostinger Reach to manage the email list and send emails, and Google Workspace to manage business email. These providers process information needed to deliver those services. Their systems may process or store information outside your state or country.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the website, prevent misuse, or address a security issue.

Website technology and cookies

I have not enabled Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other optional advertising or visitor-tracking integrations. Hostinger states that websites built with its manual builder do not use cookies by default. Hosting and security services may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request or device details, to operate and protect the website.

External websites you visit through links may use their own cookies and tracking technologies. If the site's tools or integrations change, this policy will be updated to reflect those changes.

External links and book purchases

This website links to Amazon for book purchases and to other websites, including LinkedIn and Medium. Those services have their own privacy policies. Book checkout and payment processing currently take place on Amazon; this website does not collect payment card details for those purchases.

Retention and protection

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, manage subscriptions, maintain relevant business records, and meet applicable obligations. After an unsubscribe request, a limited record may be retained to help prevent further marketing emails to that address.

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no online system can guarantee complete security.

Requests about your information

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you provided, email contact@drjenniferharden.com. I may need to verify your identity before responding. Applicable law may give you additional rights, and some records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons.
